The reference 16610 was introduced in 1988 (some say 1986) replacing the reference 1680. It was produced up to circa 2010 when the new Submariner Date with the ‘fatter’ case and ceramic bezel insert was introduced. This is one of the longest references in production for Rolex.

This Rolex Submariner could pass as new. Apart from not having any of the factory stickers in tact, there are no visible signs of this watch having been previously worn.

One of the last issues, a V Serial, dated from 2010, the watch is a collectors set including both the red and serialized green swing tag, inner and outer box, oyster booklet, user manual and warranty card dated 2010. 

This is one of those "buy the best example" kind of watches.
