Tudor, Rolex’s sister brand, has been making Submariners since 1954, starting with the reference 7922.
They were conceived as a moderately priced alternative to the Rolex Submariner and were eventually discontinued in 1999. In the mid 90s, the very last
Tudor Submariner was released: the 79190, which is the watch we present today.
This unpolished example is fitted to the period correct rivet bracelet, accompanied with its original box and swing tag. It features a perfect crisp tritium dial and sadly lacks its original paperwork which would make this a near perfect example.
